Last week we opened limited access to a revolutionary range of new site editing tools. These tools will change the way you create, edit and update the look and feel of your WordPress.com website by taking advantage of easy-to-use drag and drop functionality.
Today, we are happy to announce that everything is ready. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out these new tools to all of our customers. Here’s what that means for you.
All new features in this release

List view to drag and drop your content
Until now, you could create and customize the main content of your posts and pages by dragging and dropping blocks into the layout and style you wanted.
Full Site Editing (FSE) takes this idea much further.
Headers, footers, menus and other page elements that were previously only editable behind the scenes are now under your complete control through the block editor you’re already using. This means you can drag, drop, and visually modify any part of your site without ever seeing a line of code or an admin dashboard.

all pages, all posts, whatever you want
Thanks to the new site editor, you’ll also be able to fully control the appearance of specific page templates. From your homepage to individual posts, from your 404 page to your blog archive, FSE Full Site Editing gives you instant, cross-functional control over the design of every element of your site.

quick view
Speaking of cross-functional control, the built-in Styles tool gives you an easy way to make subtle or site-wide changes using an intuitive suite of visual design tools. Whether it’s your overall color scheme or your typography focus, creating a beautiful and cohesive look is now a quick, convenient experience.
What does it mean to you
you’ll be relieved to know you don’t have to take any action, whether you already have a site or you are about to create a new site. You will be able to continue modifying your site as you always have by choosing not to use the new site Block topics.
